Which player do you think PG was scouting last night in NJ-WIN game?
That's the news of the day, because JM really didn't say nothing of interest last night, as expected.

I just wish someone could get it through his head to fight when needed and not turtle! The laughing, jumping around, I can handle, it is poking the bear and then doing his best impression of turtle that makes me want the team to trade him, it is a real embarassment to the team, fans and the NHL...

i'm saying he can't ignore the importance of gaining respect from his teammates by sacrificing for them instead of solely concentrating on playing his own style.

i'm not saying he needs to change.

i'm saying he needs to respect what's always been the NHL process, whether we agree with it or not, or think it's archaic, that's what prevails in the room.

guys don't like being upstaged, but they'll accept if if the player doing it proves his doing it for the benefit of the team.

don't hold you breath.

ps. don't know if PG's son still goes to school in Philly... I think he does...

wouldn't read into him being in Jersey any more than potentially going to see his son

It's not really hard to upstage anyone in that room. If you can stay off your ass for an entire shift some guys will get envious.

Some say he's got very little to no friends in the locker room.
Looks like a pretty uphill battle to overcome.

I just think he'll "change" as he gets more mature. NOt the way he plays, but the way he interacts with others.

just wanna bury these BS rumors about PK.
He should be with the Habs for a long long time.

On the PG....unless he is trying to pry Clarkson or Parise from NJ, I don;t want anyone from there. ( even though you just confirmed to not look into it further )

Nice blog. If PK wasn't our #1 Dman from the age of 21 perhaps he'd have more room for error. The kid will be fine.

If the team had enough depth, they could afford to bench him, or at least make him play less than 20 minutes per game. Right now, they simply don't have the assets to "break" him without really hurting the team.

They had Halak to do it with Price.
